
A mainly seated yoga practice where props are available to enhance the postures.
Yin Yoga targets the connective tissues, such as ligaments, bones and even the joints of the body that are not often accessed in traditional yoga sessions. The poses are designed to increase circulation and flexibility.
In these sessions Karen will work on specific target areas in the body offering a range of shapes to invite tolerable stress to the area.
Postures are held for longer periods of time depending on the muscle groupings. These long held poses allow us to turn inwards and invite stillness in the mind making these sessions mind and body connected.
This practice is suitable for all levels of yogis.
