Priya's love, passion and dedication to yoga is infectious. She leads a warm & close knit community that has blossomed from her commitment to offering authentic & approachable quality yoga classes.

Her teaching style is inclusive, heart centred & rooted in functional alignment. Priya is exceptionally personable & naturally cultivates an atmosphere where yogis feel safe, seen, supported & challenged.

Priya's cues & demonstrations are easy to follow and teaches at a pace that invites presence and allows you to notice how asanas feel rather than look. Students can expect thoughtful & purposeful classes informed by a strong foundation in anatomy & deep understanding of body mobility.

She is an E-RYT 200hr and is currently pursuing her RYT 500hr with international teacher Matt Giordano. Priya's core love is teaching her regular schedule but also loves to lead corporate yoga, take on private clients as well as celebration yoga classes. She plans to open a teacher training school in 2026.

Karen began her yoga journey in 2002, following her midwife’s recommendation to manage stress through breathwork. What started as a simple practice quickly became a lifelong passion. She discovered that the connection between breath and movement not only provided a physical release from her desk job, but also brought calm to a busy mind.

Through years of dedicated practice, Karen has cultivated a deep sense of stillness, strength, and clarity. Yoga opened the door to a greater feeling of connection, happiness, and inner peace.

She finds her greatest joy in teaching and supporting her community, helping students build stability, mobility, and a sense of well-being both on and off the mat. Her lighthearted classes are infused with warmth and humor, encouraging self-awareness while leaving students feeling strong, grounded, and restored.

Karen is a Certified 200-hour Hatha Yoga Teacher & Certified 200-hour Yin Yoga Teacher

Steph's yoga journey began as a physical practice to strengthen the body and soon realized the meditative & calming benefits yoga offers and how this transfers into every day life.  

She practices and teaches with a focus on alignment, breath and a balance between strength and surrender.  She provides a safe and welcoming experience to all levels of practitioners in her classes.

Building lasting relationships with the students and the community are a very important part of the yoga experience for Steph as she feels it is through connection to ourselves and those in our community that we can face the joys and challenges of life!

Being Authentic means focusing on breath while honouring your body’s abilities and limitations.  It is about showing up on your mat as you are, not how you think you need to show up.  The focus is less on how a pose looks, and more about how it feels in your body. 

An Approachable studio centres connection over perfection. Our teachers speak in a down-to-earth way, acknowledge different bodies/experiences, and create an environment where you'll feel safe to practice, get curious and explore your mind/body/spirit.

Affordable classes are rare. Membership/payment ptions tend to feel gimmicky, confusing or require a minimum commitment.  At Streetsville Yoga you'll find reasonably priced yoga and pilates is who we are. Our approach is organic; you won't see any urgent flashy sales, seasonal promos or fancy social media ads.
